Its What?!

Standard

Today is all about adventures in the snow.  We started the day off appreciating our neighbor, who helped us dig out to head to the doctor.  At the doctor’s office we were told that my wrist might be broken from that charming dream, and were sent off to the orthopedic doctor for a closer look.  We are stopping off at my Mom’s house for bacon and waffles, and then off to the races again!  Once we are recovered from the bacon and waffles, x-rays and news, we’re heading of to Jenny and Joe’s house for supper.  Sarah and Emma are having an awesome day!   Visits with Grandma, bacon for lunch, then playing with Gabriel and Ellie!  Meanwhile I’m gonna throw you a bone, here are some Sarah quotes to enjoy:

while I was making supper, Sarah says “Mommy, what are you making?”
“Eggs in a hole”
“ooh! can I help?!”
“Sure, here press this down in the bread to make a hole”
*She does her job for awhile…* “Excuse me. Mom. Mom! Excuse me! EXCUSE ME! MOM!”
“Yes?”
“Sometimes you call people Ass in a hole Mommy.”
Under my breath: “Shit”
Allen: “Well you do! You should put that in your blog!”

About measureofagift

I am a mother of a growing group of sweet kids. We laugh, we cry, and we grow together in Christ. Every day is a new adventure. I love chocolate, sticky kisses, quirky smiles, and funny qoutables my kids come up with. :) Belly giggles, snuggling, and homeschooling round out the list of loves. Not every day is easy, but every day IS a beautiful gift. Our life as a family is slowly changing and growing as a result of a renewed interest in God's Word. His influence has been a slow process of sanctification, and this blog is evidence of it. Past posts, and current posts have changed in tone and goal, and are a testimony of all that has changed in our lives. <3 "Now, All glory to God who is able through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we could ask or think." Eph 3:20

  1. HA! Next time I see Martha (Sarah), I’m going to find out what you say about me when I’m not around! She is always listening!
